Jackie grew up in Savannah, GA, although you might not be able to tell by her noticeably un-southern accent. Jackie moved north to study literature, fairy tales, and fossils at Oberlin College and worked as a writer and news editor for The Oberlin Review.
Jackie also attended the radio program at The Salt Institute of Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine. During her semester, Jackie kept warm by wearing lots of hats and and participating in guerrilla dance parties.
Jackie currently lives out of her suitcase and works as a Mobile Facilitator for StoryCorps. You can email her at jackie [at] jackiesojico [dot] com
